End 10-year run as Chapel Choir director, cantor

After 20 years of being a part of the music program in the chapel at Assumption, Jane Shivick has decided to step down from her position as Director of Chapel Choirs and the Principal Cantor to pursue her professional singing career.
"I know that time is marching on for me, and for what realistic musical achievements are attainable for me at this point in my life," says Shivick.

His lecture reflected the question of whether or not providence, the workings of fate by a divine being, apply to Iago in Othello.

On Wednesday, April 1, 37 seniors attended the 11th annual Business Protocol and Etiquette Dinner for seniors, sponsored by the Student Development Counseling Center and Office of Career Services at Assumption College. Facilitator Carol McGuiggan said that 99 out of 100 executives agree that social skills are prerequisites to succeeding in business and social life.

The Peer Mediation Organization is a group of students trained in mediation and conflict-resolution. Peer Mediation is an alternative way to settle conflicts in a confidential and relaxed environment. Each mediator took part in a two-day training process and has the necessary skills to aid in the resolution of peer conflicts.
