As a mix of energetic music begins, the Assumption College cheerleaders blast onto the mat and make a memorable impression on the judges. They know that they only have the next three minutes to prove themselves, so they must give the routine everything they've got.

With the return of Tiger Woods to the PGA Tour, golf has once again returned to prominence in the sporting world on such syndicated sports' stations such as ESPN. Far from the spotlights of the cameras capturing the return of golf's greatest ever professional, the Assumption College golf team has begun to prepare for the spring portion of their schedule for the 2008-2009 season.

What a difference a year makes. Just ask men's tennis player Steve Tlumacki. Tlumacki, a senior marketing major from Holliston, MA, was a member of Assumption's men's tennis program his freshman and sophomore year on Salisbury St., after being brought in by then head coach, John Ippolito.

The end of the school year is drawing near and intramural sports are burning up with activity. The mini-golf tournament drew a number of participants to see the famous mini golf course that was created by our Recreation Assistant Director Patrick Guerette and senior Andrew Nadermann.
